La Scuola has created a very special Baby Nido Program. In Italian, nido means “nest” which appropriately connects to this very special classroom.

At La Scuola, your baby will be safe, nurtured, and loved. Cuddling and holding very young children is a big part of what we do every day. Our Baby Nido Classroom is filled with places where babies can roll, sit, crawl, pull up, and learn to walk. The children’s individualized schedule helps them develop a sense of trust and gives them the opportunity to explore independently at their own pace.

Our enriching Baby Nido program, not only offers excellent care, but also provides an environment that encourages exploration and stimulating, rich learning experiences. Senses play a major role in the learning process of infants, and the youngest children in our school delight on exploring the world around them through touching, moving, listening, seeing and hearing. Meaningful experiences are introduced on a daily basis in order to support the children’s development.

Individual portfolios are created where the development and early learning experiences of each child are documented throughout their journey in our school. We also feel that communication is essential. That is why parents not only receive a personalized daily report of their child’s day but also receive a daily journal that includes pictures and teacher observations, detailing all the different experiences that took place during the day.
